Herd Sires
We believe the sires (bucks)bring as much to the quality of the herd as the milking does. We carefully track the strengths and weaknesses of our does and look to the bucks' dam and paternal and maternal dams, sisters and offspring for what the particular buck could bring to individual does for improvement. We keep between 4 and 6 bucks at any given moment and therefore have the ability to "mix and match" during breeding season. As we are a CAE free herd, we "breed out" by our discretion only. It is best to invest in a buckling, so order early as we will not keep buck kids past springtime.

King's Rock Adonis
Bringing in some new genetics is always very exciting. Summer of 2019 we purchased Adonis and put him to work in the fall on our dry yearlings. His Sire comes from Redwood and Wingwood which we see as a great thing to blend with our style and needs - milk and body. Very handsome, correct overall so far as a young buck.
