Nubians, only Nubians
At Valley View Farm, our herd of Anglo-Nubian goats produce sweet, mild milk especially suited to farmstead cheeses. They are known for their quality of milk for cheese making (high butterfat) and for their assorted colors and patterns. They have long floppy ears, a Roman nose and are a rather large goat with good communication skills! Every spring we average 90-100 kids which are all hand bottle fed producing very friendly goats. The goats graze on rotated pasture ensuring a constant supply of fresh grass and vegetation that produces sweet tasting milk with seasonal variations. Our goats are registered American and Purebred Nubians conforming to breed standards. In addition to breeding for high milk and butterfat production, we annually have the herd appraised and show selectively in New England. Our herd is CAE free and we are tested for G6S. Prices start at $250 and go up depending on age.
Annually (usually late fall) we retire between 3 and 6 does and are always looking for a good home for them to live out their days in return for their faithful service to us. Please inquire.
